• • Content you post: deals, stories, comments, and interactions
• • Usage data: how you interact with the platform
• • Device information: device type, operating system, browser
• • Location data: precise or approximate location, only when you allow it, used to show deals near you and to tag where a deal is
• • Purchase information: coin purchases made through Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play. Payments are handled by Apple or Google; we never see or store your card details

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• • Personalize your deal feed and recommendations
• • Send notifications about activity on your account
• • Process coin purchases and credit coins to your account
• • Detect and prevent fraud and abuse

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not show third-party advertising, and we do not use your data to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies or share it with data brokers. We only share information with service providers who help us operate the platform (listed in section 8). These providers may only use your data to provide their services to us.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your information. While we take reasonable precautions, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

5. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and analyze platform usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect platform functionality.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• • Export your data in a portable format

7. Children's Privacy

DealDan is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.

8. Third-Party Services

DealDan uses the following third-party services: Google Firebase (sign-in, notifications and messaging), Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In (account login), RevenueCat (validating in-app coin purchases), Google Maps and Places (maps and location search), SightEngine (automated moderation of uploaded content), and ElevenLabs and Munsit (AI voice features). Each service has its own privacy policy governing its use of your data.

9. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. When you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. Your continued use of DealDan after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
